His Master's Voice
A reader writes...
"What do you think, what effect on Americans will Tucker Carlson's interview with Putin?"
The way I am able to preserve scarce real estate in my brain for thinking -- and doing -- various things in my life related to care for family members, my jobs, my health, etc. -- and taking on topics that are worth bothering about (like translating something that will help someone in the war in Ukraine; writing a letter to the editor about Russia; calling my Congress person about Ukraine, etc.) is by simply ignoring entire topics that go by in popular culture -- oh, things like "Harry Potter" (I'm likely the only person in America who hasn't read the book) "Taylor Swift" (what is she on about? I don't know, I don't watch), "the border crisis" (I don't think razor fences are humane and I'm voting for Biden) and -- yes -- "Tucker Carlson in Moscow". I won't watch. I can't watch. It's immoral to interview genocidaires and endlessly discuss them. I will do very little on this because -- see above. Search on Twitter, you'll find bunches.
Example of a good commentator on Russian propaganda TV: Julia Davis.
Everything is fine...
You can follow the people I follow on Twitter and search with the terms there to follow the antics of the RCA Victrola Dogs.
The other Vlad and Don
If you ask MidJourney to do Tucker and Vlad enough times, they start looking like other people, imagine that. MJ net-nannies more but not as much as Bing or the new Google image generator which simply refuse to do images with known public figures like this despite the higher standard for libel law in the US regarding public figures.
Interestingly, in this image, it's not just that Vlad looks like Trump. It's that Tucker now looks like Vladimir Nikonon, Molotov's grandson, and Americanologist who was likely brought into the Kremlin to advise on this caper.
