I hadn't realized just now nasty and sectarian Aimee Weber's interview with a German website was; now I see why Uri was wound up.
Here's my cross post:

Aimee’s take on the Avastar’s main competitor --the SL Herald -- is completely skewed and sectarian and has to be seen not only in the context of Aimee *being paid* by Avastar as a designer on their project, but as someone with her own inworld political axe to grind on the Platform Party.
Of course, when Aimee does a build, it’s not just a build, it’s a built-in PR campaign, replete with special nasties for the folks at home. So we have to understand her as serving the role of evangelist for Bild, but rather than just flakking her client’s product, she has to do what she has always done in SL for years — lord it over others, and put them down for no reason, to gain an advantage.
The SL Herald doesn’t want SL to fail; we all have a LOT invested in it and put our heart and soul into it. Even if you love your country, you may criticize it and wish to change the negative about it.
The SL Herald does NOT celebrate griefers. It *reports on them*. My stories in particular, and my comments, have been in fact heavily critical of griefers like W-hat. Meanwhile, Aimee’s publication, Second Life Insider, is the one that has run an utterly uncritical and celebratory interview with Plastic Duck and continually takes such a neutral stance that it doesn’t even carry most of the facts of griefing, i.e. against Anshe’s press conference at CNET which was done by PD.
Furthermore, by embracing the notorious griefers’ haven Second Citizen, Aimee opens up questions about just where her own loyalties lie and her own stance in relationship to rampant griefing in RL that may not harm *her* business but harms others.
Pham Neutra is a competent enough writer, but he represents a distinct RL and SL political set of viewpoints, and his take is not overly broad.
SLH is right to challenge the official statistics of “the 2 million” many of whom tried SL and never return or give up — but we have provided story after story about the real life and growth of SL, and we can hardly be said to undermine SL; we’re taking virtuality seriously, and satirize it as well, thereby paying it its highest compliment.

Goddamn, I was so right to take on this Prom Queen back when I did, even if it cost me the forums. I realize how right my struggle has been each time I open up a website.

150L?
yer kidding right?
But then again, it seemed like you didn't give a squat for those who wouldn't be able to afford it.
Kinda like those stores on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills: If you have to ask...
Meaning "this stuff is NOT FOR YOU if you ain't got it like that".
It appears ya keep on keeping on as per usual. So basically yer lil rag is nuttin new, darlin.

Brace,
You do understand that Aimee isn't the one setting the price on the AvaStar? She built their damn offices, she is not the publisher or responsibile for the paper. Don't let facts get in the way of bashing her though. It appears ya keep on keeping on per usual.

Well, the Avastar is just one more story that we can't count on the Blingsider to cover accurately, since *their* chief star is paid not only to be the builder, but the chief PR flak.
Other reporters are merely commenting accurately, as Brace has indicated, that $150 is going to be a pretty steep price for avatars. Brace didn't accuse Aimee of *setting* this price; she's merely pointing out that Aimee is not evaluating this situation objectively, since she's paid by the Axel Springer people.
More metaversola...

Brace, Cristiano is right. Your beef over the price is with The Avastar, not me.
But your care for those who cannot afford things is touching. Go buy a yak for Tibetan children:

That's right, lie, score cheap propaganda points, and completely slam and misrepresent a competitor to somebody paying you bunches, then go put links to your saccharine family stories and try to shame somebody like Brace who does charity out the wazoo. WTG, Aimee, that's precious!

Not worth L$150.

I'm surprised this earned a whole blog entry. On the Prok-scale, my opinions are faily mild.
Regardless ... Merry Christmas, Prokofy. This should cheer you up:
