I wonder if any other avatars have developed a mythology. While I have little doubt in my mind that at one point the real Plastic Duck typist was up to no good - I suspect that many, if not all activities in the past twelve months were simply others evoking the name. I was actually surprised to discover a few weeks ago that the Plastic Duck avatar was not actually created until many months after (the real) Plastic Duck was banned from SL.

Prokofy Neva

otakupOpe, you're just one in a long line of apologists, and I guess you defend the "honour of uniform" here.

I've known Plastic Duck -- the original -- the alts -- for ages.

And there's no question that the guy who called me up at my home was Patrick Sapinski AKA Plastic Duck. And the guy who spoofed my info to make the fake account that penised Anshe; and the guy who grabbed my avatar's name on Facebook.

I don't know where you're getting this myth that "Plastic Duck's avatar was not actually created until months after he was banned". Baloney. I distinctly remember the Plastic Duck avatar and the events in Calleta, for example, with the black tower of doom, and the grid crashing that came later, and his banning. Of course he existed, griefed, and was banned.

What did happen is that various b/tards who weren't the same guy evidently began going around in this Plastic Duck avatar with the crossed eyes and Soviet/Nazi look. But that was all something he himself occasionally interracted with.

He then came on as Gene Replacement, and wrecked havoc on that alt. And there've been others.

I don't know why on earth it's so important to you to try to rehabilitate this jerk. It only denigrates Libsl.

otakup0pe Neumann

Oh I'm not trying to rehabilitate anyone - that's happening naturally. I'm also not defending anything that he (rather than those in his name) may have done in the past.

As far as apologizing goes, I do have to apologize for one thing. When I said "Plastic Duck avatar" I actually meant the stylized soviet avatar - the outfit itself. I'm sorry for any confusion my choice of words caused.

On a (un)related note, I take it you will be at SLCC? If so, I look forward to seeing you.

KMeist Hax

I would like to know, you seem to have a personal vendetta against all SAers and 4chaners. It seems very juvenile at best. I haven't been griefed by W-hat or Woodbury, but your mileage has (obviously) varied.

I myself happen to go on 4chan sometimes; I'm hip with all their memes. I myself have decide to make a group, "The /B/org Collective", which will eventually have some land for themed builds. Lately I've been wearing my "/B/org Queen" tag a lot more often; the only people to actually notice was a few /b/-tards in the Eon skybox, who where friendly and had some pretty good avatars. Everyone else doesn't even notice the group tag. To them it's just another group; I haven't been banned due to guilt by association.

I would like to know, exactly what would happen if a griefing /b/tard or SA goon were to apologize to you at SLCC. I hope you can be mature enough to accept that apology.

P.S. Am I on this "enemies list" of yours? If so, what did I do to get on there?

Prokofy Neva

Like I said, my offer is void where prohibited and null for those who are in W-hat/b/tards/chans/v5 whatevers and their families.

Why? Because fake apologies is one of their classic forms of griefing.

I'm still debating how I'm going to respond if such griefers approach me at SLCC. I think a big "L" for loser or crossed fingers for "Evil" will be the two ready-made responses that I can get for free from my own fingers : )

Mukatsuku Yoshikawa

I don't understand why people being nice to you gets so much hatred back.

Why not accept is apology, or ignore it, instead of using his apology to mock him?

The finger crossing isn't helping things. (-_-)

Prokofy Neva

Um, you don't accept fake apologies Mukatsuku. That's not done.

A real apology would say, "I'm sorry I bothered you by calling you at home and scaring your child."

"I'm sorry I stole your name on Facebook, here, take the account."

"I'm sorry I defaced your RL picture, griefed you, incited others to grief you in SL."

Not something retarded like "I'm sorry I don't agree with you."

Ugh, ugh, ugh.

Prokofy Neva

Oh, if I ever see you, I'll be sure to finger-cross you, hon, as one of Aimee's little henchlets.

Io Zeno

"Oh, if I ever see you, I'll be sure to finger-cross you, hon, as one of Aimee's little henchlets."

And I hope people are there to take photos of you acting like a madwoman, for posterity.

Mukatsuku Yoshikawa

Ok, I accept that, but I don't know why your child was scared.
Plastic Duck didn't threaten her, he just asked if he had the right number, didn't he? He asked if her mother was Prokofy, from what I think you said.

Anyways, I always feel apologies should be accepted, and if you don't believe them, accept them on face value but stay guarded, rather than attack.

Apologies are too rare in this world and should be treasured.

Prok

No, not fake apologies.

It's a good thing to learn right from wrong, Mukatsuku, I suggest you get busy doing that.

Mukatsuku Yoshikawa

I know right from wrong, thank you.

Komuso Tokugawa

You should know by now, Muk.

If Prok means right and wrong, she really means:

It's a good thing to learn my opinion from that of everyone else.

Beezle W.

It's so good that you put such effort into calling an end to the various enmities between you and your fellow residents. It's nice to see you've turned over a new leaf, and would never dream of using a proverbial white flag to instigate further attacks. Once again, your wisdom and insight have left me breathless.
