Excellent name - it's probably going to be your same tired old record being played over and over again.

Fascinating... hrm.
Seeing as I seem to have the 'must type to live' affliction as many others... I'm very tempted to be a freelancer (emphasis on 'free' as I'm not looking for $L for it).
Well. I won't put anything forward unless I've got something worthwhile, which is sporadic. Up to you, Prok, if you want to add me. I presume text and a .jpg for a story will ultimately be emailed to you, the editor?
Curious about the level of editing as well... I can appreciate what good editors and title writers do, but I'm a bit Woody Allenesque when it comes to maintaining a format, which might make it tough.
And *where* did you get that spectacular typewriter in your pic there?
I want one...

Desmond, if people want to write for this newspaper, and I accept them, they get a guest account, which means they can post at will.
So that means some people who ask to be provocative and harass me will be ignored, and other people I've never heard of will also be ignored, because I want to work up to a group of people who have collegiality, and that means that while they may not be friends or even like each other or agree with each other, they have at least some level of trust to work with each other on a public newspaper.
You then just post on typepad -- it might require your getting a membership, not sure how the steps work since I'm a member anyway, you just follow the URLs on the invitation, and type part in the first box and part in the second box, then upload a texture/picture.
If somebody is a guest writer, they won't be edited. I don't have a lot of time for this, and I want to find grown-ups who will write acceptably and be trusted to post themselves.
The typewriter was made by Darling Valentine, who is one of my tenants, you can find it at Ravenglass Hall Market. It enables you to sit at it and has a typing animation, in case you don't get enough of that already in SL.
Write to [email protected] or [email protected] and send me an email and I will send the invitation.
