I'm amazed there are no comments about how the use of web content isn't ttly a way to get around the L$10 stopgap for textures.

Because it's not? I'm not going to take a house and replace it with web-on-a-prim and beam in textures from Photobucket because that would mean having that weird little menu over every piece, plus I'm not sure that it would tile right or wouldn't lag. I don't see the point. There are some things that it might replace, sure, like signs. But on the whole I don't see it.
