Still looking for a blog comment feeder/manager that isn't a pain in the ass and tracks not threads alerting me to answers, but also keeps track of the text of my comments and the links.
o Managed to get a comment posted to Hamlet nee Linden Au's interview on Henry Jenkins' blog. While I didn't want to go into it on Henry's blog, a key way that Hamlet has been able to funnel and control news and impressions of Second Life is by banning people from his blog arbitrarily. He pre-emptively banned me when he opened at the new site, even though on his old Linden-sponsored site, I was *not* banned because he couldn't find any *cause* for banning me. What he did on the old Linden site was remove the link to my blog he had once inserted. There are many things I could say about Hamlet; I've said most of them. Urizenus has probably said them better. The grant-funded essay he has on Baccara Rhodes and Aimee Weber, which is recycled from other stuff he did, is about as feting a fete I've ever seen. I just wish Henry's MIT blog wouldn't be so intimidating to other people, that they'd step up to the plate and comment on Hamlet's tendentious and skewed take on SL. Oh, and Henry also let through my comment on Part 2 of Hamlet's interview.
