This was appalling:
The advice you get from billboards on how to discipline your children in Texas is kind of intense. pic.twitter.com/xAqc6Lgwyy

Imagine the perfect state of nihilist WikiLeaks Occupy hatred you'd have to be in to see a useful public service announcement on a billboard designed to prevent the drowning of little kids as something overly "intense" about "disciplining children" in "Texas" (hate, hate).
As if keeping your children in hand in the water is about "disciplining" and not just basic safety and good parenting.
This nasty-assed swipe from a non-parent was designed to be a statement about Texas conservatism -- you know, Bible-thumping and getting in your face about drowning kids.
It was supposed to strike a blow for freedom for all children living under such "oppression" and being "disciplined" in such a fashion -- you know, like the way they are "forced" to learn about creationism and not just evolutionism.
What an ass. If you don't know who Aaron Bady is -- he is the Assange-explainer who gained wild Internet fame among the cognoscenti when his wonky graduate student's blog analyzing Assange's anarchist writings suddenly got attention with Cablegate. If you thought he was just an interesting scholar, you'd be wrong, because he went on to join the ranks of the Occupy forces in California, championing the most violent Occupy in America, in Oakland, and justify their violence, mayhem, craziness, and Marxism-Leninism -- ardently. And he continues in the ranks of the Snowdenistas flogging the Chomsky/Derrida/Greenwald line on this.
This type of comment from him is typical of the "cultural critique" he thinks he brings to the world on Twitter. Nobody ever pushes back. I do. That leads him to pretend it was a joke. Of course it wasn't a joke. It was a dog whistle -- and not a dog whistle but a human whistle to round up his posse and ridicule Texas born-agains.
