A convo with the Jip after a frustrating session trying to get the Jippity to fix a simple translation that I could have done myself better, but just couldn't take the time to do, especially for free, as it was a statement from a Russian physicist fired from his job for political reasons which I wanted to share urgently--CAF.

Jippity, FYI, УГ = унылое гавно, it's a Russian slang expression, usually they don't make acronyms out of their slang but are much more brutal and direct with an entire separate slang language known as "mat" as you may or may not know, but that one is an acronym in some communities (in this case, academic). I think it is better translated as not "a mess" but "pathetic shit". Literally it is "sad shit" or "depressing shit". [Note: Jip may have net-nannied on this one--CAF]. And I'll tell you an example of pathetic shit, my cleaning up after AI, and earning less than minimum wage now as an AI janitor and not a translator.
